The small sized and light weight OPL 6845 bar code laser scanner with auto-triggering feature will automatically scan a bar code as soon as the label is detected by the scanner. The use of laser technology makes this handheld scanner more flexible than the traditional CCD scanner, as the OPL 6845 will scan at touch and at distance. This ability to scan from varying distances means that the user has a tool to read varying bar code label widths by just moving the scanner a bit further or closer to the label. Slightly curved labels can also be read.
If "Hands Free Scanning" is preferred, the scanner can be placed on the supplied auto-trigger stand.
The OPL6845 scanners have all popular interfacing 'on board'. Interfacing options include RS232, keyboard wedge and USB. With the USB interface this scanner can easily be implemented in the latest computer technology.
