Check In / Check Out Items Easily

We asked our customers what they wanted in a software package. They asked for the simplest interface possible. CheckMan is as easy to use as barcode scanning the Location or Borrower and then clicking “Issue Items” or “Return Items”.

Unattended Mode

CheckMan comes with an Unattended Mode. This means that borrowers can check items in and out on their own. It is as simple as scanning their borrower ID and then scanning the items.

Simple, Intuitive User Interface

CheckMan offers many simple & powerful features. All Items are displayed on one screen in a data grid that can be easily navigated. Click any item within the grid to display the complete information on that item. Click any column in the grid to automatically sort the information within that column.

Advanced Data Capabilities

Field Names like Description, Location, Serial Number, Due Date, Quantity and Value are already defined for you. CheckMan also allows you to define your own field names. You can also define Items as Consumable to track those items that are used in the field.

Barcode Scanner Enabled

CheckMan has been designed to work seamlessly with barcode scanners. The software has been tested with the majority of barcode scanners designed for PDAs on the market today. CheckMan has also been successfully tested with PocketPC PDAs that have built-in barcode scanners.

Full Filtering & Search Capabilities

CheckMan for PC provides you with different ways to view your data. A full search capability allows you to locate data within your database. A filter capability gives you the ability to view of a portion of your database.

Upload / Download Data to Your PC

CheckMan allows you to upload and download information from your item database. Powerful Import/Export wizards assist you through the process.

Based on Microsoft Access

Because CheckMan PC is base on Microsoft Access, you are not locked in. The Access database is not locked or password protected. Collecting your Item information in an open database allows you to export that information to other software. CheckMan provides you with an open and flexible solution.
